Founding Partners

What does a Founding Partner get?

Your name, brokerage and region appear in every issue from Issue #1, with a feature bio and photo on the Adirondack Market Report website. Your comments receive priority placement, you're the first brokers featured in Broker Spotlights, and you help shape the format and content of the report as we build the first issues.

Is there a cost to being a Founding Partner?

No. There is no participation fee — your expertise is your contribution.

How are the three founding seats chosen?

There are three Founding Partner positions, each representing a different region and brokerage, to bring a range of perspectives to the report. Other brokers — including those at a brokerage already represented by a Founding Partner — are welcome to join as Participating Brokers.

What do you need from me?

A weekly market insight: a few short sentences about what you're seeing, hearing or noticing in the market. Comments on featured listings when you have something to add (always optional). Feedback on what's useful as we shape the first issues. And, if needed, help accessing current listing data — we need an authorized path to the IDX feed, and only one of the three Founding Partners needs to sponsor or authorize access.

Do Founding Partners get a say in the format?

Yes. You have a voice in the format, content and usefulness of the report as we build the first issues.

Can I step away from the role?

Yes, at any time. There's no long-term commitment, and active Founding Partner benefits continue for as long as you participate.

What happens once all three seats are filled?

That's it — the scarcity is the point. Participating Brokers hear first if a seat ever opens back up.

How do I become a Founding Partner?

Email Michael and let us know which region you know best. We'll set up a short kickoff to collect your profile information, work through IDX access, answer any questions, and get you ready for the first issue.

Participating Brokers

What's the difference between Founding and Participating?

Founding Partners hold one of three free seats, appear in every issue, receive priority placement on commentary and are featured first in Broker Spotlights. Participating Brokers are paid subscribers from any region or brokerage, with no limit on how many can join. Both receive the report on Monday, can contribute commentary and weekly market insights, and are featured on the Adirondack Market Report website.

What do I get as a Participating Broker?

The finished report every Monday, alongside Founding Partners — two days before it goes out to the rest of our list — ready to share with your clients, prospects and network. Your name and brokerage appear in the report, you can contribute weekly market insights and listing commentary, you vote on the featured listings, and you're featured on the website, including in Broker Spotlights on a rotating basis.

How does the weekly schedule work?

Friday: we send the 20 featured listings for the upcoming issue — comment on any where you have insight to add. Monday by 7:00 a.m.: send a few sentences on what you're seeing in the market, plus any listing comments. Monday 10:00 a.m.: the finished report is delivered to Founding Partners and Participating Brokers. Wednesday 10:00 a.m.: the report goes out to the rest of our list.

Will my commentary appear in every issue?

Each listing can include up to three broker comments. Founding Partners always get priority placement, followed by Participating Brokers in the order comments are received. Participating Brokers are listed by name and brokerage in the report.

Is there a limit on how many Participating Brokers there are?

No. Participating Brokers can come from any region or brokerage, and there's no limit to how many brokers from one brokerage can participate. More Participating Brokers from one brokerage means more opportunities for that brokerage's expertise to be visible in the report.

What if I want a founding seat instead?

There are only three, and Participating Brokers hear first when one opens. Email Michael to apply.

Cost and Commitment

How does billing work for Participating Brokers?

$100/week, charged automatically to the card on file, once signups open. Participating Broker enrollment isn't live yet — email the editor to be notified.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. Participating Broker access is billed weekly with no lock-in beyond the current week. Founding Partners have no long-term commitment and can step away at any time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Email the editor and you're canceled — no fee, and you're only billed for weeks you were signed up.

Is Founding Partner pricing the same as Participating?

No. There's no cost to participate as a Founding Partner. Participating Broker access is $100/week, once it opens.

Commentary

What kind of commentary can I add?

Two kinds. A weekly market insight — a few short sentences about what you're seeing and hearing on the ground. And comments on any of the 20 featured listings where you have something useful to add: road access, property condition, buyer response, seasonal realities, or what happened at a showing. The data tells us what's happening; your commentary can help explain why.

Do I have to comment every week?

Listing commentary is always optional — you don't need to comment on every listing. Founding Partners are asked for a short weekly market insight.

How does placement work?

Each listing can include up to three broker comments. Founding Partners always receive priority placement on any listing they choose to comment on. After that, comments appear in the order they're submitted. Founding Partners also receive priority placement for weekly market insights.

Can someone else at my brokerage comment instead?

Yes. If someone at your brokerage knows a property better and they're a Participating Broker, they're welcome to contribute.

Do you edit what I submit?

Yes — light editing for length and clarity. The substance and attribution stay yours.

Is there a length limit on commentary?

Keep it brief — a few short sentences is all we need.

When is commentary due?

We send the featured listings on Friday. Send your market insight and any listing comments by 7:00 a.m. Monday.

Who is this

Who is the report for?

The Adirondack Market Report is built for brokers. We don't build our own list of buyers and sellers or compete for your client relationships. Founding Partners and Participating Brokers receive the report and share it with their own clients, prospects, past clients and professional networks. We create the report; you decide who you want to share it with.
